Joe Tree Day
Today we are celebrating the founder of Blipfoto, Joe Tree. What started out as a personal way for him to keep a photo a day has turned into our wonderful site where many people have enjoyed the camaraderie of meeting other people from around the world. My tree is younger than blipfoto but shows a substantial trunk and many branches, not unlike a family tree. I feel like I am one of the leaves up there enjoying the sunshine.
Thank you for sharing your idea with us Joe.
I mostly just post something that has happened during my day and rarely go looking for a blip. Many are of my garden which has flowers all year. This Robinia was planted about 2010 and has grown like blip. I’m pleased to have met many blippers over the past 11 years and enjoyed every contact I have had.
My day was fairly routine. I went around to a neighbours’ place to deliver some fliers she is going to distribute for our local candidate. Had a cuppa with her. Onky has gone home so it is just us here tonight. I’ll add an extra of her when she put herself to bed last night. She has such short legs, funny little girl.
I’m not happy with my new crochet pattern and did 2 squares. They turned out OK but are too fiddly for someone who likes to watch TV while crocheting. I have done two more patterns today and not thrilled with them either. The funny thing is the new wool colours are the same as the dog. Cream and a coffee colour.
