1692: Salem witch hunt begins
Quote Of The Day
"And mark this. Let either of you breathe a word, or the edge of a word, about the other things, and I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you. And you know that I can do it."
(Abigail Williams)
Bonus Quote Of The Day
"Basically, I was always disappointed that the witches weren't real when we learned about the Salem witch trials."
(Robert Eggers)
Robert Eggers echoes my thoughts about the Salem witch trials perfectly. Another reason for me to watch Nosferatu. Such a shame there were no real witches in Salem; it sounds to me as if Abigail Williams would have made an awesome witch!
Anyway, no witches here, just a beautiful day and a wonderful 22 kilometers run. Gonna get my dose of supernatural terror later when I watch the magnificent Fourman brothers do their thing.
Burn The Witch (Yes, these is the way Salem should really have transpired.)
