Daphne doorstop

Spent most of today trying to catch up with our quilt groups Block of the Month quilt. As the leader of the project I really must keep on top of this. Whilst sitting sewing Mabel and Daphne tried to come in. Mabel got shooed out but Daphne decided to sit on the doorstep. I was a bit worried that a gust of wind would come along, blow the door shut and squash her! Thankfully that did not happen.

This afternoon I was pottering in the hen house and got stung by a bee. Oh that really hurts. I think it got trapped between my foot and my clog. Poor thing - the bee I mean.
