House Finch

I noticed a pair of House Finches were flying around our house this afternoon. 
I captured the male for my blip today, but the female eluded my camera. 
I suspect they were investigating our birdhouses on the front porch. 
We hope for birdy tenants this year. 
It has been several years since we have had the pleasure of watching the chicks grow up.
