Mitcham Common windmill

I met Sue, an ex-work colleague tonight at Miller & Carter in Mitcham. I knew the address was Windmill Road but I didn't know the remains of the windmill were in the car park until I left. 
Apparently the mill was constructed in the early 1800s and functioned until 1862 when it was badly damaged in a storm. The restaurant is in what was the Mill House.
