Is this a good place for a cat to sit??

My naughty juvenile Minnie Minx had to knock an ornament from the top of my loudspeaker so she had room to sit. As you can imagine, there are NO OTHER places in my house for a cat to sit

I got my blood test results from Wednesday today. The ‘magic numbers’ are improving again. But by fractional amounts. With NO TREATMENT apart from stopping Metformin and Ramipril, I have been reading about how to improve kidney health and the advice to eat only plant based food is overwhelming. No meat or dairy. But I have been vegetarian since 1977 and vegan for the last four years. I really miss scrambled eggs!

The hospital said that after the local blood tests they would contact me to arrange an outpatient appointment to ‘plan my treatment’. But they haven’t bothered. I tried to phone them today. I was passed from pillar to post but no one could ‘find’ me on their system, despite me repeating my d.o.b, hospital number and NHS number. Finally I was given a different number to phone which would supposedly help. But the number just rang and rang and rang, unanswered, with no answerphone. I’m only an NHS patient with chronic end stage 5 kidney disease, so what do I matter? I’ve contacted my GP surgery admin dept to ask if THEY can contact the hospital for me. And I’ll just have to keep on waiting.
