Low viewpoint, and a poignant extra
in fact - I couldn't have got lower without a spade. Camera resting on the shingle by the lake edge at Crummock, though mostly ripply, this part of the lake was pretty calm. and I wanted to get all the branches clear of the distant fells.
An extra - which made me a bit sad. I have, for many years, photographed the Scots Pine at the end of Lanthwaite woods - just by the shore, today as we got there, we saw the damage from recent storms - a massive branch simply snapped off. The bottom part of the image was from my 6th December 2024 Blip - branch still intact. I always liked the way it framed the landscape behind.
Wasn't sure which to post as the main pic, and which to post as the extra - let me know what you think.
