Purple Crocus

We went into town today to do various things and to have lunch in Wetherspoons. It was a very successful day with several purchases made. However, one box was empty when I got home. The shop offered to deliver it to me, but I decided that I would collect it on Sunday. So probably another lunch out.
 
Today’s picture is of some purple crocus flowers blooming in the sunshine, which greeted me on my return home.
 
Temperature noon today – nine degrees Celsius. There was a heavy frost first thing, although once it thawed it felt much warmer as the sun shone for most of the day.
