Orchids

Another quick blip as we have to go into Norwich again shortly.

A friend gave us this miniature orchid a few years ago.  We aren't very good at keeping house plants alive but this seems to thrive on neglect.  It sits in the bathroom and gets a good soaking of water every couple of weeks or so, and seems very happy.

Every now and again it throws out a new flower spike and this one appeared a few weeks ago.  It's just starting to bloom now and if past experience is anything to go by, we should have flowers on it for a few months.
