Seeing Books

This afternoon I found the local ladies helping out their creator and author making Seeing Books for vision impaired children and recalled a previous meeting where I was all for it to learn how they are made and, yes, help too.

The fiddling around with glue and paper, and recycled envelopes with shapes in them of various sorts put me in mind I failed First Grade art. I believed so. My 5-year old version of the Holy Ghost hovering over a manger was chastised with a lecture on how Silent Night ought to be...can't remember how...and laughed at. Goodness me, I was hurt. :)

Silent Night? Seeing Books? Skating close to the emergence any moment of mixed metaphors here...
