A Beautiful Early Spring Day

Well, a taste of spring anyway. We’ll be back to our usual rainy cool weather soon, I imagine. We need the seasonal rains to get through the dry summers. It typically doesn’t rain here in July, August, September and sometimes October. So we need the winter rains to prevent drought conditions.

Anyway, I had a gorgeous walk this morning, followed by an afternoon of Mahjong, and then a drink with a dear friend down in NW Portland at our favorite restaurant. We each have a martini (mine in, hers vodka) and the most amazing roasted Brussel sprouts. Sounds goofy, I know, but they are incredibly delicious!
