Inside Out 2

You may have noticed that I can't resist a series of blips with a theme, whether it is over a few weeks or every year, come rain or shine, I tend to get a bit obsessed with them. This blip now establishes a series of "chuck out the old sofa/chairs" blips... although something tells me this may be the last in the series. I think we got this sofa when we moved in, 30 years ago, passed on from my parents who I believe bought it in the early 1970s meaning it must be 50+ years old, sheesh! This is the first in the series...

Much to Mrs C's disappointment, we tend to replace big things only some time after we need to... it broke maybe a year and a half ago, but we had plans for the room the sofa was in, so the decision was delayed. Those plans are still in development mode, however we swapped our sofas around for Christmas and decided to keep it that way, so now we could replace it, makes sense yeah?

So the sofa is off to the dump, the 2 chairs still work, maybe someone wants them for free so we'll give them a week... but I still feel some attachment to them having been around me for so long, in the background, but don't worry, I'll get over it!
