On a cold and frosty morning

A blanket of crisp white on opening the curtains this morning. A beautiful winter's day - bright, blue, fresh. Low-key day at work - the best kind - nice walk home, cuppa, dinner made although we're all in and out at different times this evening. Himself off to pickleball, youngest out walking and me off to pilates. Afterwards, gave birthday gift to friend for tomorrow then home, slice of toast and cuppa, bit of tv then bed.
