They’re back

A couple of days ago we both thought we’d seen some activity in the pond, but with the glorious sunshine today there was no doubt of the activity.

The extra is Mr H lopping the top off the neighbour’s hedge from our side - with her permission and agreement. We need to get it faced up on our side too but this was enough for Mr H’s knees for one day. Last year we missed the opportunity before the birds nested, so we were determined to get the worst of it done before we miss the chance again.

I’ve worked from home today - analysing invoices. I’ve been in my element, but wish I’d got a couple of hours in the garden too.
