The Gas Man Cometh
THURSDAY
The day started with the arrival of Paul and Huw to continue work on the kitchen. Hot on their heels was the garden waste collection wagon followed by the recycling collection team and then Brian in the Plum Van with this week's Ocado delivery. All before 10:00 am.
Mid morning, I headed down to Rhuddlan to post a parcel, stop off at Bailey's Cafe for a quick cappuccino and then on to the barber's shop for a haircut with Catherine. Also called at the supermarket for more biscuits for the workers.
No sooner had I arrived home when the Flogas tanker arrived to fill up the LPG tank.
This afternoon I drove over to the endodontist at Gatley, Cheadle for x-rays and review of the tooth which last year was the subject of root canal treatment. All was deemed to be satisfactory and no remedial work necessary. I was surprised that they said there would be no charge for the appointment.
Home in daylight just before 6:00 pm.
On the kitchen front, most of the cupboard doors have now been fitted. Paul and Huw have now moved into the utility room and completed a tall cupboard and fitted the washing machine and cupboard for the utility sink.
10,500 steps so far.
