Having a doze

What a busy morning. I woke at 05:00, dozed a little bit until 06:30 when I got up to let Ziggy out into the back garden.
Made a cup of tea and we went back upstairs to get dressed, me, not Ziggy.
Shortly after 07:00 I opened the girls curtains and blind so they could wake up gradually. It worked, they soon came downstairs in a good mood and ready for breakfast.
I took Ziggy out for a 10 minute walk to the park, that worked as well. He did what dogs do right next to the 'Dog Waste' bin, good boy.
Told the girls to go up and get dressed as I had to go to a nearby Citroen garage to pick up our daughter who was dropping her car off to get a couple of problems sorted out.
Took a bit longer than expected but got home and Marlane had overseen the girls getting dressed and she'd done their hair etc.
Walked to school and then, when I got back home I said I was tired and was going to have a lie down.
Ziggy does not like me lying down on my own, he assures me that I need some company so he always jumps up onto my bed and lies with me. He's usually at the bottom of my bed but sometimes, like this morning, he wanted to lie with me.
We both had about one and a half hours sleep.
I then took him to the groomers where he had a good wash, a bit of a trim of his tail and back end, the groomer told me you don't generally trim Pomeranians, they just have to be well brushed. She also did his claws. He looked good when I picked him up just over an hour later.
Took him for a long walk after lunch and then walked to pick up the girls from school.
Today I have done 11,288 steps (it's 19:40 so a few more up/down stairs to go yet).
Yesterday I did 12, 618 steps. It's good to have a dog    :-))
