Fiesta

Well you could have had a pretty shot of the once monastery we are staying in but it turned out that we hit lucky and the 5th is a main festival day. Guiamares is known as the cradle of Portugal and its a fabulous gem of a medieval town.
This was from the festival procession last night. It didn't start till after 11. Hence the backblip.
We also met a lovely IG friend Isobel, ate nice food and settled into a new home (for the next 2 nights).
It's overcast at the moment so hoping the sun comes out later so I can share some monastery loveliness later.
