The whiff of Spring

It's Thursday rest day but I checked in with the frogs again this morning (see extras). There was still a bit of activity and a lots of frogspawn, also one of the herons checking them out.

The frogs seemed to be aware of movement above the waterline and tended to move when I did. Not much chance against a spear-like bill descending swiftly from the top of Lord Holland though I imagine.
