a lifetime burning

You again

I'd been watching the Dipper for a while, praying that it would walk into the shaft of sunlight, as the river has high banks of plenty of trees so it's quite dark.  The Dipper has clearly spotted me, but seemed happy to keep  on looking for food as long as I kept still.  Eventually the bird moved into position and I got this shot.  Then cramp in my leg forced me to move slightly to try to ease the cramp.  The movement, slight as it was, was enough, and the bird flew off along the river in search of a more private picnic spot.  But I was pleased with the end result which had been well worth the wait.
