"Hovis" hill actually Gold Hill, Shaftesbury

A day to start wandering home! Weather ok, not as hot and sunny which is quite nice! After breakfast we went to Shaftesbury which is a place I had long wanted to visit. I wasn't disappointed with the view and as we were early on a Sunday morning not too many people around. Later went into the museum at the top of the hill, worth a visit and the volunteers really informative and helpful.
Had a drive down to Kingston Lacy and spent some time in the house and grounds, then went on to White Mill.
Drive home seemed to take forever, think the world and his wife where out! Also had to wait at Dartford tunnel as one side was shut, only bonus was that we went through just after 10pm and it was free!
