That’s a wrap

Busy day in the office today. Spent the first couple of hours in mentor mode.

By dint of doing nothing and going no where, I seem to find myself in the position of a veteran of our industry - at least in our office anyway - and people looking to me for advice and counsel.

I feel like a bit of a fraud offering guidance, particularly as I would be out of the door leaving only a me-shaped dust cloud, should a creative opportunity ever present itself! However, I delivered my words of wisdom with a straight face and I think they were well received….

Worked from home in the afternoon as a tricky case needed my sole focus as I try and pick through a former colleague’s work.

Yesterday’s latch went again and I ended with an extra child this evening as one of m’boy’s chums came round for tea and a gaming session - it was lovely hearing the laughter and giggles from upstairs as I prepared tea.

We went for chicken wraps with the stuff picture (and sour cream - not pictured) to pad them out a bit before they all went back to their devices.

How is it Wednesday tomorrow already?!
