Lewis Hamilton

I had plans to go swimming after work. I left the office at 5:30 after 9 hours of sitting down (working in an office is so bad for you!) and did not want to sit in the car for the 35 minutes of traffic it would take me to get to the pool. So I went for a good walk around the Quays and Media City, as it turned out mainly in the rain. And found signs to the Blue Peter garden and the Gold Badge winners walk. The idea that the Blue Peter garden is now in Manchester and completely open to the public (surely the tortoise just wandered off ages ago with this set up?) blew my mind but I wandered round and then inspected the gold badge winners. An eclectic mix- lots of sports people, Elton John, Buddy Baxter obvs. And Lewis.

Home for a Big Salad and was happy with my half price perfect raspberries from the co-op.
