Forelorn

I have to admit I know nothing about dogs other than I am afraid of pitbull terriers. I don't buy into the he doesn't bite bit about them. Anyway I am told that dogs are very intelligent and have a mind of their own. I am just wondering do they get a choice when it is to stay in front of the fire or be dragged out on a miserable wet day. He sort of gave me that look.
