Goldfinch

During today's walk in the woods, there was more birdsong than usual, so I loaded Merlin, which reported magpie, robin, rook, dunnock, blue tit, coal tit, great tit, woodpigeon and jackdaw. We saw the magpies and the woodpigeons. but didn't spot the rest.  Home was a bit quieter, with just a couple of goldfinches, starlings, and the feral pigeons picking up what everyone else dropped.
