Hat trick of flower blips

What a day of weather. Woke to frost and sunshine. Looked out some 10 minutes later both gone. Raining by 10.00, even harder for the rest of the morning, even so we went for our walk. This is the best I could come up with.

It did ease off this afternoon only to come back with a vengeance just before I finished my run. Much, much better this week than last. I’m not a morning runner!

Plenty to be going on with this afternoon, planning for the trip over the next couple of weeks including the Lakes 7-14th March, contacting Cumbrian estate agents and also working out what needs to be done about transfer of utilities from the tenants to us.

We walk along many alleys, or footpaths, twitchels, gunnels, snickets, call them what you like. We’ve notice far more chocolate submarines have been launched by dogs over the winter months. Are owners not aware or do they just not bother? One walk last week we spotted upwards of 15 submarines. It’s taking me back to when I was young. Anyone remember the white ones?
