MMC25: Day 25
one day back blip
I spotted a Lincoln's sparrow a couple of weeks ago. It's an uncommon bird around here. But I saw it again and was able to get a picture of it. It was challenging to process because it's a LBB (little brown bird) foraging on the brown ground and twigs. I'm terrible at identifying LBBs so was grateful a birder was around to help me. The Merlin app, which I recommend to aspiring bird photographers, confirmed the identification.
It was a bit of a nothing-burger kind of day, except for my trip to Madera Canyon. Other than this sparrow, I really didn't get much other than a specialty coffee. But it was nice to immersed in nature for a while.

I was watching the Boston Marathon and saw one runner dressed as a chicken and another runner dressed as an egg...
I thought, "This could be interesting."
