Hay On Wye
Midday, Mrs BB and I decided on an hour drive to Hay on Wye, Herefordshire (England UK) for a walk around this tourist town on the border with England and (Powys) Wales.
The town is built around Hay Castle (1636AD) on earthworks from 1200's which has been run by a charitable trust since 2011. The interesting thing is the postcode is HR3 5DG with some sites giving it's location as Wales (Powys) and others Herefordshire! Companies House have it as Hereforshire so I suppose that clinches it!
Ideal for this week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge with the theme of 'interesting building'
The extra is one of the front of the castle from the high street entrance.
