Team BBQ

The day began super early, with G getting ready to leave home by 6:15. She went on a 4get-me-not trip to Khor Fakkan on the East Coast. The actual activity was from 10 to 12, but with a two-hour drive, they left earlier than normal to be sure to get there on time!

I opted to WFH to finish month-end tasks. It worked well to see Nara before he left for a couple of months to visit his family in India. Thankfully, G came back before I headed out to meet with the team for a BBQ in Zabeel Park. It is walking distance for me, but carrying two chairs and a camera and speaker was too far to walk with a load, so G dropped me off.

I have to say, the evening was most pleasant. The weather was cool, and there was lots of delicious food. We finished by playing two group games—the first was an Indian game called Antakshari, and the other was charades.

I got a ride home, so I didn't have to walk across the park with my two chairs and DSLR and it didn't take too long to edit the few pictures taken today. I'm tired.
