In a country churchyard

A quick outing to St. Nicholas church, Worth to check out the parking options for a memorial service tomorrow.
Although it looks in an idyllic setting , the church, which was built over a thousand years ago, is well placed for hearing the roar of traffic on the nearby M25, and the comings and goings of planes from Gatwick airport.
What different lives we have from the people who founded the building, then  deep in a forest. But the same faith endures.
