Old and new
Mixed weather again today, showery early on, but getting better. Indoor stuff this morning, but after lunch the forecast suggested sunny periods, so I went downtown to post a parcel and drove round the Esplanade to Ganavan beach, just in case anything exciting was happening. A few dog-walkers, but an otherwise empty beach - my extra today.
I parked on the Esplanade beside the War Memorial thinking that a picture of the Dunollie Lighthouse and Dunollie Castle would make a good Blip. I had to wait quite a while for this picture as a cyclist in yellow hi-viz clothing had decided to take his ease in the middle of the view! He'd gone in ten minutes!
Behind the Lighthouse can be seen the yurt and shed belonging to Green Shoots, the local charity which has taken on the old Dunollie Walled Garden on behalf of the community. They're doing a wonderful job with lots of volunteers.
