Our 1st try

Off to see how Silvan is getting on with is training. Much of the driving is done on the fast, twisty, main road from Munich to Oberammergau which means lots of weekend traffic and lots of tourist busses. Silavn has a 'thing' about large vehicles, as can be seen on the top photo as he tries to push over his colleague on the right to avoid the camper can. His colleague is a very experienced, massive South German Dray horse, who you can't simply push over.

It doesn't help that drivers have no sense of the danger, don't apply the rules of overtaking to a carriage which counts as a full vehicle, don't even apply the laws for overtaking cyclists (minimum 1.5m distance) ignore all road markings - in the bottom photo the car is overtaking on a lane for people turning left. We were even to witness at this spot, when we were turning left, cars overtaking on the oncoming lane. How we never had an accident in those six weeks is beyond me,
