Spilt Milk

The lightbulb in my fridge had blown and I tried to fit a new one.  Easy job, you would think but noooooooo!  Whilst trying to manoeuvre my way to reach the socket I managed to dislodge the door shelf that held 2 litres of milk - in glass bottles - and 2 bottles of soft drink syrup - also in glass bottles.  Crash....boom....aarrrgghhh!  Fortunately only one glass bottle broke but I was amazed at how far a litre of milk can spread. Longer story short - I missed a zoom meeting than was due to start in 15 minutes and the kitchen floor got 4 separate washes, sweeps and scrubs as I slowly but surely soaked up the milk, swept up the shards of glass and tried to mop the smell of milk up.  I guess the next 24 hours will tell me whether my 4 cleans were (good) enough to neutralise the smell of milk.  

I didn't cry though as there's no point in crying..........
