St Andrews

Off to St Andrews after breakfast this morning. I’ve never known the town not to be freezing but at least it was sunny. We thoroughly enjoyed browsing round the book shops, galleries and charity shops.
We also paid our respects to Mr P’s great grandparents (buried next to the Cathedral) and then after lunch in the Café in the Square, met up briefly with an old student friend of Mr P who recently retired from the university.
We managed a walk along the West Sands, before heading back to the cottage.
