Home Again
A morning visit to the cat rescue. Ruth was in her element, the lady running it also having more in common with Ruth than just cats made it an especially good outing. Ruth will most likely start fostering a cat quiet soon, she's experienced in the care of an old and frail cat, something the vet recognised as an asset when talking to the cat rescue lady. There's also the distinct possibility of adopting a cat alongside short or medium term fostering. A special cat is awaiting a new permanent home. His tolerance of dogs will be explored first as Meg and Bella visit Ruth, if he passes that test, Ruth will meet him. We're trying not to get too excited.
Back at Ruth's in time to collect paint from a superstore and get some keys cut locally, then lunch and I set off for Wales. Ruth has spent the afternoon tidying and sorting kitchen things which can now go back in new places in her kitchen after the snagging was completed. Fingers crossed for no more problems.
I had a ready meal tea at Jamie's and made it to singing on time. A great evening with two of our regular visitors and all in good voice. Tired after two short nights, I must get a good one in now as I am out on the railway tomorrow for the first time in ages.
