Winter Edition

I was supposed to be meeting a friend this morning but her partner wasn't well and needed her support, so we called it off. It gave me the opportunity  to make the bramble  jelly earlier in the day, and do some other useful jobs. 
This morning it was sunny and mild, and we saw the first Brimstone butterfly  of the year, flying around the garden, presumably looking for some nectar- rich flowers.
