wheel, or space-saver spare wheel - and we had to fight for it. We bought the car (new, for Mrs L) back in 2016, being an old-fashioned guy I checked, and horror of horrors - no spare wheel. I imagined being in a remote part of mountainous Scotland, no mobile signal, and a flat tyre. A space-saver spare was offered to soothe my indignation and at least it fitted in the recess at the back, but to my mind was still a poor substitute. But it had to do. Here we are 43,000 miles  and nine years later, and this is the first flat tyre this car has had, efficiently changed by the AA and the "spare" in place.

For the technically minded, it is safe but don't exceed the speed rating!
