Castlegate, York

The sun catching the Georgian Fairfax House (1740) and the steeple of St Mary's church in Castlegate. The church was deemed redundant in 1958 and since then has hosted a local history museum and various art exhibitions. At present, it's the home of the Van Gogh Immersive Experience. Some people love the experience, but many others are decidedly unimpressed, so we can never decide if it's worth going. Maybe one day ...

Thanks so much for all the hearts and stars for yesterday's blip milestone. All very much appreciated.
