It's Spring!!!

Well at least that's what the birds at Pensthorpe this morning seemed to be singing, the Robins in particular were singing their hearts out. I started feeling better yesterday evening and feel fine today - thanks for all your good wishes. I was intending to only bimble as far as the flamingos, but they were locked up, and as I was feeling fine I had a look at the cranes (see collage in Extras) and walked round the main lake. There were so many signs of Spring around, including a pair of Robins having a territory dispute and the geese pairing up. When I got back to the shop, I found out that the flamingos were locked up due to bird flu restrictions and are only allowed out between 11 and 2 (not sure that makes much sense). Over lunch I listened to the PM's speech, which I thought was going well for a change, then he got to the point and said he was aiming for 2.5% of GDP spent on defence by 2027, which to me is too little too late. I also did half of my big pile of ironing. I've rested up and edited photos this afternoon.
