All go!

We've been talking about doing this for a while and booked the event before Christmas. It was as enjoyable as we'd hoped.

Found a lovely Caribbean restaurant last night with a fun vibe and the canal front was buzzing. The athletics didn't start until 11.30 so we were in no rush to get up, making our way there for the 10.30 doors opening time - just a short walk from our hotel.

Once the events got going, there was an event going on wherever you looked almost. Apart from sitting for a lot of hours, we thoroughly enjoyed it and will hopefully be finding another one to see at some point in the future. I think the high jump was my favourite event with Morgan Lake being the star for me.
