A Swedish Mono Monday

This week our host for MM is heanku, who has asked us to post something Swedish or at least something invented in Sweden.  She has posted as selection of items first invented in Sweden for her own entry.
For myself I have chosen something from That Store, a glass light that sits in our hallway.  I have loved Ikea and have never been there without buying something that I didn't realise that I needed until I saw it!  I have Ikea items in most of the rooms in my house!  No more though since they closed our nearby store, which has become a venue for music (from artists that I've never heard of) and has received very mixed reviews.
In other news:  V's appointment at GOSH went satisfactorily in that they are taking no action yet but will see her in 6 months.
