Went to use the gym machines first thing; sunshine and a cold wind. 

Afternoon meeting at the Lawnmarket; up and down the News steps. The 5th Duke of Buccleuch was catching the sun.  Statue by Joseph Edgar Boehm.

Contractors seem to have sorted the draining snag they were working on; helped our neighbour with a gas boiler issue later on in the afternoon.
