Play in your food

I saw many hummingbirds, or maybe I saw the same two 15 times, but it was so overcast I only managed very, very grainy photos. My camera doesn't deal with anything over ISO 800, really. Still, I loved looking at them and listening to them; they even sound magical, like tiny little golden bells.

A volunteer* sunflower in the veggie patch is keeping the neighbourhood bees awfully busy, and with it being a 500 calorie day I thoroughly envied him for being able to roll around in his food :)


* as in: I didn't plant it.
