Giant jigsaw

We said farewell to Wendy, Gilly and Graham, and set off for home, via Shrewsbury and brother in law David and Maureen.
David was keen to show us his latest completed jigsaw, 9100 pieces if you can believe it!
It’s an early map of the known world from 1601, no sign of Australia! It’s pretty impressive as a jigsaw, 2x1.5m. David had to specially commission a board large enough for it, and it took about two months to complete. He likes to put them away in completed squares, in case he should wish to see it again!
That made a nice break for us, but then we carried on up the motorway to home.
It’s good to be back, and I’m looking forward to seeing the garden in the morning!
