Bright darkness

Did not get the forecast thunderstorm but a veil of darkness brightened by a low sun.
Generally brighter warmer with less breeze made a quite pleasant day spent initially down by the sea at some friends for coffee and scones: cake etc.
Delivered the tall grass cuttings for composting and a catch up blether.
Dinner chicken, pears and peppers with sprouts and tatties.
