Hamnavoe in February
A beautiful sunny day, less wind but still very windy. A fine dry evening, remaining windy.
Start of another week, a week on the toon essykert ahead. I've been working with Philip and John. Black bag waste around Lerwick. Working in the shop this evening, a busy night. Feet up before bed.
I nipped out to Hamnavoe after work, to buy a copy of the Gentle Shetlander, a book about my great grand uncle (bargain price for immaculate copy). The sun was still shining after work, it's actually staying light(ish) up after 6pm now. Another month and the clocks going forward, things really heading in the right way now. Saying that, the winter sun is still quite low, even approaching 1630hrs. Looking over the Hamnavoe piers, Burra.
