Mono Monday: Week 579 ...

... First Feral Chipmunk!

Sorry this isn't exactly on theme of Swedish for Mono Monday ... but when we saw our First chipmunks of the year during our walk at Plainfield Rail tail I had to post this Foto!  Thanks to heanku for hosting Mono Monday for February. 

As you know I've been on Chippy watch since the beginning of February ... but hadn't seen any until today.  I wish my First chippy sighting would have been at home ... but I'm certainly not going to Fret about it. 

During our walk we also saw a woman we used to run into a lot on this Footpath.  Human mom (Jen) to Wilbur the dog.  Sadly, she was walking alone today and told us that Wilbur passed away three years ago.  She hasn't gotten another dog since but she does have cats at home still.  It was really good to see her again even after we learned of Wilbur's passing.
