Stacking

I enjoy stacking wood. This is the wall I have been building over the past few weeks - there is another behind it. It’s the old oak which fell a couple of months ago and there is still more waiting to be split. The wood will stay here for a few years to dry out before we burn it.

A better day today - no wind or rain. I went to aqua and sauna - more talk of operations, tattoos and piercings. One man, in his 50s, just got his first tattoo, of a thistle. We talked about how our bodies tell the stories of our lives - scars, stretch marks, tattoos, wrinkles ….
