St. Bartholomew's Church, Richard's Castle. Situated on the border between Herefordshire and Shropshire, it is a fabulous and historic building with too many features to comment upon, or photograph for a single blip.

I was lucky enough to have time to mooch round this iconic church and did take many photos. Originally a 12th century place of worship, what is there now is largely 14th century. It has a Knight's Templar Chapel and a detached bell tower which was probably part of the nearby castle ruins.

I could go on but suffice it to say it is a wonderful building in an imposing hilltop setting with fabulous and far reaching views

I loved it here and intend to return when I can. It is well worth a visit for anyone in the area!
