Neighbor's New Roof

Almost every house in our 56 home neighborhood has had a roof replaced in the past few years.  This house is one of the oldest and the latest to get the job done.  Many were replaced after hurricanes and other sever storms.  Fortunately, the majority (including ours) were covered by insurance.

I took this picture this morning because I wanted to share it with friends who were the original owners and moved away 10 years ago.

RIP Roberta Flack  I saw her once, 1969 at the Rutgers Jazz Festival.
