Coaley Peak view towards Cam Long Down

On the way home from my dental check-up I drove via Ally and then up onto the Cotswold escarpment to visit Coaley Peak. I thought the view might be good, but actually the haze was rather thicker than I anticipated when I was down in the Severn Vale,

This view is looking south-south west towards Cam Long Down which menacingly above the town of Dursley where my dentist works. I like the details in the landscape although little is clear in this view today. The viewpoint is on the site of ancient Iron Age burial mounds on the top of the steep scarp slope where the Cotswold Way traverses the edge these hills.

I didn't know how to cope with the sun which was beginning to set so I ignored it, and of course it has blown out the sky, but I rather like the effect of producing an orb in the sky.
